Quit going to those idiots. If it has to be ordered anyway, just order it online and have it sent straight to you with no markup and probably no sales tax.

Well as a side note to all of this. I got myself signed up for a yearly subscription to Cummin QuickServe this past Thursday. From now on, when I do have to go in there, "I" will look up the parts number myself prior to heading over. All they have to do is grab the part off the shelf. Most of the parts I had previously purchased from Roberts are 20-50% less expensive ordering them through QuickServe.
I am bummed a little that some of the more major parts for my Cummins aren't available on QuickServe (starter, alt, egr, turbo etc) I guess those would be the truck specific spec'd parts you have to get directly from the Volvo dealer, or elsewhere. -
I say God bless Oklahoma, keeps the hot air from all them Texans out of Kansas. LOL
highside and wheathauler Thank this. -
Well, don't know whether I will be doing much hauling but the weather is supposed to be nice. Around 80 by Thursday. I guess it's time to shut the truck heater water off.

Good luck with the new gig Big John. Just going by the area that I watch, looks like the flatbed loads are picking up lately. And stay safe strapping down that pipe.
I don't have anything lined up yet this week, catching up on all the little maintenance items that get neglected during the winter.
The 2 trucks we have now don't have water shutoff valves for the heater. I was skeptical about it, but the a/c seems to keep up fine anyway.Big John Thanks this. -
Oh man, that reminds me. I gotta get that new condenser put on. I ain't about to run that hotbox down the road this summer without AC.
I just hope I didnt destroy the compressor by being low on freon all winter. -

I went through Hennesy Friday, and there was a sign in front of their office that said it was for lease. I didn't see any trucks there either. -
