    Oh ok....

There are two guys with Pete's one highrail and one 8 car setup that park around Encinitas several times a week thought maybe one of them might be you.

doesnt matter the type of tractor, axles on a stinger rig(10 car)are 34,000lbs per tandem which allows 12,000 on a single axle being your steer axle .it does not matter the brand of truck or trailer but you are not legally to go over 80,000 lbs.there is an exception to the steer axle weight thogh. you can have over 12,000 on the steer if your tires are rated for a heavier weight.you have to no your tire rating. arkansas is the only state that i no of anyone getting cited for there steers being over 12,000.in anutshell if u want to be under 80,000 but your 13000 on steer you can be 33,000 on drive & 34,000 on trailer or any other scenario .dont sweat it just time and patience GOOD LUCK

I was unsuccessful with the search here on car haulers, so I decided to start a thread on the biz. Are there many car haulers here? I'm going back into it. After years of killing my back for Sysco, then one week in a LTL OTR gig, I get a call from a guy that used to work for my last car hauler job as the dispatcher/manager. He's going to be the manager here in Great Falls for a company called Turbo Auto Transport, and he wanted me as his driver. They specialize in getting cars into Canada. I'm exited to get back into it. So much more challenging than the majority of driving jobs, but it's a lot of fun when things are running smoothly. I'll be primarily running back and forth from Calgary to Great Falls, but once in a while, I'll run down to L.A. or San Diego for a full load to Canada. Pay is $500 for every run to Calgary, and 25% on any other. The Calgary run ends up being just about .70 cents a mile! Wooo Hoooo can't wait!

Wow, I guess the mods are quick around here. The search on this site sucks though I must say. Go ahead and type car haulers in and see what it gives you. But anyway, thanks for moving it for me.
