Looking for some advice. When I started with my current company we all had assigned trucks. I kept mine reasonably clean and maintained. Now we are forced to slip seat and the guy who's truck I got switched to has this nasty odor I cannot get rid of. I've tried Febreze, ozium, dryer sheets in the vents, all kinds of air fresheners. tried clorox wipes. I don't know what this guy eats or does in this truck but it's a lingering funk. I've even tried pure peppermint oil. Still won't take away this guys lingering funk HELP! I've tried to switch back to the truck I was in but management is giving me all the BS excuses, while their ### kissing drivers get the gold treatment.

I've been driving for 14 years. I did job site deliveries in 100 degree heat, unloading cabinets by hand, drenched in sweat. Food delivery, same story and I've never encountered the kind of stink this guy puts off!! All we do is haul mail. You roll some carts in and out, and drop and hook. I don't know if he rolls in foul smelling roadkill like dogs do, thinking it smells like perfume but it's disgusting.

Most of these drivers are absolute hogs. either smell horrible, chain smoke in the trucks, leave food particles all over the steering wheel/dash, coffee/soda spills, loogie on the windshield, fifth wheel grease all over the floor. Once i was assigned a truck i scrubbed it out and swept it everyday but i get paid to drive trucks, not be a maid.

Tell your boss you want a different partner to slip seat with. Or take him out to the offending vehicle.

Wow....you tried everything I woulda tried. I got nothing.

Been there too. Sorry for your luck.

Only thing left is to smear a dab of Vicks VapoRub under your nostrils...
That worked really well when delivering oxygen to the sewage plant.

I usually turn the truck heater full blast, recirc, spray ozium in and wait about 10 min. I've delivered pebble lime to incinerators, sewage plants. At least you can leave that smell when you hit the road haha

One of our c02 places was a cow hide processing joint in KC. Some of the other drivers said the smell was bad. Real bad. So I get a load going to this place. I'm dreading it. Get there and I guess luck was with me because it didn't smell bad at all. I think it depended on exactly what they were doing on a given day. Or which way the wind was blowing.
