1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Hey I've posted also somewhere else but it seem to fit better here. Looking for a company that:
    1. has company sponsored training (without having to sign contract)
    2. a friend or spouse training option
    3. near or around alabama

I was looking hard at CRST because they offered all but when I realized that they did not have direct deposit i was kinda put off. the only other company i know of would be schneider and i've noticed they are not to high on the favorites list. I am looking for a school in alabama but it is not that important and home time is not a problem for me i'm free from needing that. Does anyone out there know of other companies that offer these things? Thanks in advance for your help everyone!!!!:smt050

    1) this might be non-existant

    2) i would "imagine" that the person just goes as well (after they fill out an application and get accepted of course)

    3) i don't know of any, but someone else should.

You are not going to find a company that will put out the money to train you and not expect you to sign a contract.

You can take your wife or she can get trained right along with you and you can team drive.

There are several companies, I went to C1 in St Louis. But you have a ton of choices.

Don't let those posting scare you about schneider. they are not that bad. you have to realize the sheer number of drivers they have so even a SMALL fraction of them with bad reports adds up to ALOT of reports. Especially if you can team drive.
nobody will train without a contract unless you pay for it.

You need to MAKE SURE that your wife or whoever can become YOUR teammate when there training is done.
