Talking to the shop they like the auto because no clutch adjustment, or replacement needed and is now covered under warranty. And most new drivers have auto restrictions on there license.

Anyone know what running out of the California Central Valley yards is like? Where is orientation for California drivers?
-
I am guessing you are referring to Tulare yard. I am here now will be loading today to head back to Florida
Are you planning on doing local or over the road? -
Regional or local. Want to stay fairly close to the West Coast.
-
Just sent a message will find out for certain about orientation. As far as runs we pick up in few places here in cali and Washington state Nevada I’m sure you will be busy .
-
Okay for orientation you will be flown to Florida and from there if you need to be flown to a truck they will take care of that also
JC1971 Thanks this. -

That's is also how I manually upshift. Didn't have to do that before the software "upgrade". You can also flick the stalk twice quickly to double shift.Friend Thanks this.

Just had the trans fault again yesterday. I know the routine now so I just keep driving with it bonging away and look for a rest area or wide shoulder to pull over and switch off.
First few times it happened I had traffic backed up on an exit ramp when the truck wouldn't move when stopped. Now I know to avoid those with an active fault.Friend Thanks this. -
