Scania truck pulling American trailer

We had 3 of the early A26s start knocking around 350k miles. One that I know of made it through the block. Mind you, the company has less than 20 trucks total. So we aren’t big.

 

Wow-wonder if this is going to be another case of “Navistar didn’t test ***!!”

 

Price tag plus import tax , tarrif . Seems a scania would be cost prohibitive, not to mention no trained mechanics in N America .

 

They have maintenance centers across the US actually!

I never said it wasn’t. But maybe you should pull your head out of the sand and realize there’s cool stuff out there. Take your blinders off.

 

There's a guy not far from me that owns 4 or 5 working Scanias. They seem to work just fine for him.

 

Running the V8's ?

 

I would have thought the scarcity of the scania trucks would mean scarce techs for that truck . But idk , tbh .

 

I know one for sure is a V8.

Honestly its nuts and bolts. Not too difficult.
