Beats a sharp stick in the eye for now, but I hate a twisted bumper….

 

I don’t know if you’ve ever tried one, but the boxed end style bumpers take those hits much better.

 

Just think if you had one of those plastic trucks it'd be a bumper, hood, headlights etc. Probably end up being a 5 figure repair with the truck down for a month waiting on parts.

 

It hit hard, hard enough to break that heavy cast aluminum mounting bracket for the bumper and leaf spring mount….

Sitting at a pub at the bar, some woman sits next to me and tries to converse. Not bad looking, but nothing to get excited about. Tells me that she had hair to her waist and she just had it cut. I like long hair on a woman and so I ask what her husband thought about her getting it cut off. Six, you horrible archaic SOB!!!

“I am an independent woman! I do not need permission to cut my hair. My husband has no say in anything!”

I see (and I bring out my phone to check the latest on TTR)

Apparently, the removal of attention was too much for her to bear, she starts trying to explain the dynamics of her marriage. Oh dear…

“Our marriage is weird…he doesn’t care…blah blah blah…blah blah…blah…”
