That's logical, and also makes financial sense! Too bad for me that when I was out there, I didn't work for somebody that had your mindset/smarts.
It's all falling apart

Big focus on the 3-4 car haulers. I notice a lot of 3 car Trailers with a 4th on a tow bar. They seem to not like that set up. Still don’t know what’s up with all the new hot #### car haulers. Must be a lot of Lease returns or cheap auction vets up here. They’re everywhere.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.

Ford just cancelled a shift at a Truck plant. That’s causing layoffs at many Suppliers. Expedited is always feast or famine. Probably be famine at least until the new model year gets into production. I’m doing Local work. 60% Automative. It’s slightly down, has been for a while. Still plenty of work. Any Company without work is too Lazy to find it. I worked yesterday on Saturday. Took an expedited load on a Straight Truck. That’s the stuff that keeps the Company profitable, even though profits are down. Keeps me employed. The easy money is gone. Back to Service and Competition. Whoever provides the service gets more work. In other words. Back to normal.

The big lie in my view is that the economy is good. I don't know of a time when the economy was ever good. People are spending, but more often than not, they spend money that is not actually what they earned. Loans, credit cards, some form of debt. Credit card debt has been at an all time high for some time now. I don't see how an economy can be called thriving when people aren't truly thriving. The country has massive debt, and most people living in it have massive debt and it's been that way forever, so did the country ever really get out of recession? I'd say no.Tug Toy Thanks this.
