I have an 06 W9 with a 72 aero sleeper and it really frustrates me that no engineer held there hand up in the design meeting and said, where is the driver gonna put a microwave? But they did put a frig in it.Down on the FLOOR.The sleeper has alot of room, but very little thought went into it.I have a microwave in mine, but i had to remove the top rail behind the drivers seat and strapped it down.Looks ok but they could have put a put a larger cubby above the closet for the microwave.Just my 2cents.

That's because PACCAR products aren't designed by engineers for customers they're designed for the Pigott family.

I love KW, always have and always will. BUT I will agree with oneshot, the sleeper layouts are not the best.

I also never understood why KW never went to a unibuilt style flattop like peterbilt has. The KW flat tops have no room, can't even slide the seat back. But the pete flats have much more room.
