Picked this up as I was browsing thru the disappointing UPS results and it was a comment. Pretty well sums up the near future in mu opinion.

The overall economy is in bad shape. The problem is that millennials and Genzie are now overwhelming the journalism field. And they do not know a thing about economics or how to connect economic dots. All I see are major companies laying off lots of people. Electric vehicles are not selling. People can’t afford to buy houses. Everything points toward this in 2024 hard recession probably in the third or fourth quarter at the latest because people are tapped out economically. I suspect 2023 was the last hurrah. People are out of money, they’re out of savings because they’ve spent their money they were going to buy a house with to go see Taylor Swift and buy electric vehicle and live in a nice apartment. 2024 shaping up to be a whole different world economically.
