Welp. Never heard from Sysco. Us foods interview I thought went well. But apparently not. Within a few hours I got a no thank you email. The ad is still up that they’re hiring for that location tho. Weird. So wife and I were discussing moving, applied to a Sysco that’s about 900 miles away from my home now and they called the next day.but the one an hour away is crickets lol.

Why would you up and move 900 miles away for a job you’re not even sure you’d like?

Wasn’t for the job, lol we were talking about moving to that location regardless. So I applied just to see what would happen

Any other "hidden gem" type companies/accounts similar to Domino's folks would recommend? Or even in other delivery gigs like auto parts etc? Especially for inexperienced drivers...

Martin Brower cause they do McDonald’s. O Reilly maybe for auto parts. DOT transportation hires newbies and drivers seem to be home a lot.

I worked for Sysco for 2 years. One of the hardest jobs I ever had. The hardest foodservice job out there

    Radman and FloridaBoy93 Thank this.

They had rice spread out on brokendown cardboard boxes on the kitchen floor , roaches a plenty . I called the Williamson County Health Dept after call , b4 i left the parking lot.

I’ve asked in the past, but what happened to the high paying milk haul you went to orientation for? That was utilizing your CDL.
