They probably wanted to know what owner you worked for, not the carrier.

Actually what I was looking for was Van, Straight, or Tractor?

"A" bad experience with panther, must have been pretty bad.

Thanks. God gets all the credit; if it weren't for him, I could do this job.
We are off to a good week. I'm @ Petro refueling and will deliver to Knoxville, TN. Then pick up a load for Kansas.

25cpm for training is ok. is the O/O training you? Either way, you have to get your experience. Just always have a back up plan. Good luck to you.

Maybe a little more info would be helpful.......Got laid off from a Fabrication plant here in Michigan a year ago. Unemployment was running low, and besides, I was feeling pretty worthless. Never drew an unemployment check in my life until a year ago.
This SEEMED like a good way to go. Been reading all the forums and they're pretty much the same. All depends on where you work and you self-attitude. My o/o will be training me and he sounds like a nice enough guy on the phone. Guess I'll find out 4 sure when I meet him tomorrow. Good luck to me.

My dad paid all his drivers a percentage. They ALL were making 55k to 70k a year, they ALL were home every night, and they ALL complained.
