Older cabovers OTR?

And still have a POS
Rather shimmy up a cab over than deal with a FLD

 

Exactly what I did, but Cummins.

 

I got a 99 FLD with a cat. Best truck I’ve ever owned.

 

I’ve got a buddy i haul with that’s got an 85 FL cab over with an N14 shoehorned in, that 3.9 mpg on the quarter is starting to get old after a few years….

I don’t mind the old folds with something other then a fuel to noise converter in them but at this point between the family we have like 8 or 9 KWs in the yard and I have no interest in learning another parts system….

Theres a utube channel FSC Trucking running an 84 peterbuilt cabover, runs a 48' lowboy . 400hp bcat 13 spd.

 

“Orwell” nice old Keen Transport truck. There used to be an old hand around these parts that ran one of those for Keen back then. One of the few companies that ran big Cat power in company trucks.

 

thats it hoss , but i got to say that small sleeper , walls would be closing in on me after a week or 2 .
