Where is everyone #5

I'd be in to that. I'd love to do an old school bike and build it how I want.

 

When I 1st brought it home they laughed, a very good friend even ask if I actually gave $$ for it.

The rolling frame with tank leaned against the inside of a tobacco barn. The dogs had peed on the rims for so many years that the lower spokes and nipples were rusted apart. The engine was in a box partially disassembled.

5 1/2 months later I had it running and looking like a motorcycle again. They no longer laughed…..

 

With exchange rate that's about what they're going for up here. My buddy picked up a mid-2000s Sportster 1200 late last summer and its a nice bike. He picked it up on a Sunday afternoon, then on Friday rode it 9 hours to come watch some Model T races out in my neck of the woods.

 

Worse: Imagine waking up to that.

 

That was my dad's last bike. 2015 Nice ride. Comfortable. But wanna talk slow. Harleys are not notoriously fast. But I could put real-estate (alot) on him from a stop.

Half a dozen deer watching.....two raccoons getting it on.

Spent the morning cleaning up Rv hauler. Now getting ready for the big game with some appoprate snacks… Hope you all have a great day!!
