2 Accidents I-65 in Remington Indiana

From the looks of it, snow and ice was the cause of both accidents.......

 

Not sure about the first wreck, but it was sunny and dry when the second one happened. I sat for 3 hours 1/4 mile behind the scene of the 2nd wreck.

It was not a pretty sight.

 

One of the drivers involved in the four truck accident is a friend of mine. He says everyone was stopped when the rear truck hit and knocked all the others into each other. Did anyone here see what happened?

I saw a story on the news. Not sure what caused it because the details were pretty sketchy

 

sounds like he was drivng to close or tailgatting when he could not stop on time.

 

Weather wasn't a problem. We haven't seen snow or ice all month.
