Because it is fact of the current market, even the most slightly mature and educated would know this and not resort to personal attacks.
Publicly traded companies reveal what is going on, don't take my word for it.
Trucking carriers are out here operating at a loss per mile.
Ch robinson, you know the large brokerage crashed during it's earnings report and stated how terrible the freight market is.
Trucking authorities going bye bye at quick pace.
Even in good times it is bad coming out of Texas.
Texas is not far behind Florida and Colorado in terms of lots coming in and a whole lot less going out.
Got to get big money going in for it to make sense. -
You might like my truck then. It's an 85 Cabover
This is what I was talking about, not so much highways or roads in Texas but the path from Ohio to TexasDiesel Dave, austinmike, exhausted379 and 1 other person Thank this. -
I frequently took loads from Akron to Houston. No serious issues. My preferred route was I-71 to Louisville, then I-65 to Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Then go west on the Western Kentucky Parkway (at some point it turns into I-69) all the way to the Mississippi River past Dyersburg. South on I-55 to I-40 to Little Rock, then I-30 to Texas. Easy peasy, and a lot less traffic AND hills compared to going down through Nashville.austinmike Thanks this.

He probably doesn’t want to pull the trailer that gets that rate so he’s stuck looking at load board rates for general freight.
I almost had a moment of weakness last year and went to help my friend in MT. They were at $6.45 on 50k, prorate up. Just under $8 a loaded mile on 62k load. -
Yeah let's not forget permit and escort costs.
