Let me make sure I read this correctly
You bought a truck and now your upset you have to wait 8 days to get the truck so you can THEN GET IT INSPECTED ?
I’am just shaking my head
Just FYI most people get it inspected BEFORE they sign on the dotted line

It might just be me, but I think he’s saying he can’t pick the truck up for 8 days until (they) complete the 100 point inspection?Rideandrepair, BigR, exhausted379 and 2 others Thank this.
-
I think you need to learn how to buy a truck. 8 days isn't anything.
DO NOT DEPEND ON THEIR DOT INSPECTION OR THEIR 100-POINT INSPECTION AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR DOING YOUR DUE DILIGENCE.Rideandrepair, Speedy356, Last Call and 1 other person Thank this. -
So then he buys the truck with the understanding that they will do a 100 pt inspection I hope he was smart enough to get in writing they would fix any & all issues that were found in this 100 pt inspection . This sounds like a Ohio Truck Sales scam
Just like @Ridgeline said I sure as hell wouldn’t put a lot of faith in their inspection
I still would of took it to somebody else and had it checked over BEFORE I bought it but then again I’am not as naïve as the OP when it comes to buying a truckRideandrepair, BigR and Speedy356 Thank this. -
I bought my new to me reefer out of PA from someone I haul with and I have never witnessed a more ####ed up ######## process for getting a title, and I live in MA, which is fcked up on their ownRideandrepair Thanks this.

while Ohio truck sales is over priced, everyone wants pre emissions, pre eld trucks until it’s time to either physically do repairs, or spend money on repairs for a pre eld, pre emissions truck,Rideandrepair and Last Call Thank this.
-
Agreed a lot of the guys wanting to buy pre- emissions don’t grasp the concept that the truck is atleast 20 years old and there are other things on a truck that can be costly to repair all they look at is the fact it’s a per- emissions truck they think they are buying a gold mine when really it’s a money pitRideandrepair and BigR Thank this.

Was nice when you could get a new glider and have the best of both worlds. But I guess too many jumped on the bandwagon and the EPA got all prissy madW923 and Rideandrepair Thank this.
-
I think companies got scared of the EPA and their mandates, so the glider has been restricted. I didn't see too many people act like they were important enough to fight for them.Rideandrepair Thanks this.
