In Canada's Maratime region, my uncle says the groundhog is in Witness Protection program after they got about 5 feet of snow in Nova Scotia. Now its Newfoundland's turn.cke, Kyle G., exhausted379 and 6 others Thank this.

That's why you don't listen to groundhogs. You eat them.

Had a buddy that hauled Deere for TMC years ago. He said he and many others would duct tape the exhaust opening since Deere or TMC didn't provide a boot. Later, they got a message saying not to cover the exhaust because Deere is tired of paying out for tape residue removal during PDI @ dealers and if the exhaust needed to be covered Deere would've covered them.cke, Deere hunter, beastr123 and 5 others Thank this.

Yeah there’s a specific tape that CAT uses made by 3M that leaves no residue. I actually spoke to a couple of engine techs about covering the exhaust and they all said it wasn’t a concern for them.
I was surprised myself as I was in the process of buying a cover and wanted to make sure because at a couple of CAT locations they require tape and won’t let you use a cover.cke, booley, IH9300SBA and 1 other person Thank this. -
That is why I used a large dog-bone sponge stuffed into the stack. No tape and a bit comedy when I started the engine with it still in.
