Actually I like Denny's. I think its great they're coming together, but I just hope Pilot doesn't screw this up and make Denny's suck!

I like the Denny's in Mt Jackson, VA, and the one by the Pilot off I-95 in Maryland!

Comdata cards will start working at Flying J now, I hope.

I hate Dennys. Pilot should have went with the waffle house. There food is at least good.

I like Waffle House for any time of day breakfasts, but I wouldn't touch the rest of their menu with a ten foot pole!
Denny's is fine. Some are good, some are bad, but most are fine. Depends on the management of each store.

But the portions needs improvement for the price they charge.

i say leave the portion size alone, (we already eat to much) and just lower the prices to a price that is actually competitive with non truckstop places.

Yeah! Flying J's food is lousy. I've always liked Denny's. And hopefully the Flying J here in Great Falls goes that route, there is no Denny's here.

The thing with Denny's is it varies so much from store to store. These are no longer owned by a chain, but are franchised now. For the last several years, at least.

I've had very decent food and excellent service at some Denny's, had bad food and decent service at others, had horrible food and service at others. It just depends on owner/manager. For the most part, I've been OK with them.

They can change the name and change the menu, but the same people will still be in the kitchen cooking. If it was bad as a J, then it will probably be bad as a Dennys.

I would like to see some variety out here. Do we really want every truck stop to have the same restaurant?

Isn't that Denny's the one across from one of only two Sheetz truck stops? (the other one being in Dubois, Pennslyvania)?

The other Denny's you were mentioning, is that in Perryville, Maryland?
