Paper logbook app!!

Your not the only one.
I can do just enough to make it not work until my 6 year old grandson comes over. My go to electronics fixer.

 

Yesterday I arrived in container, today I pull container officer.

 

Same deal. It's taken me 3 years to use a full paper log book.

 

That's a no sh#%er. I'm driving a 2017 glider so I can stay on paper logs. Why in the world would anyone that can run paper want a app.

It may be faster , but sometimes the dog eats my homework and I have do it over again. Very easy on paper, just saying.

Sorry to revive an old thread... but... my computer just died. I've been using DDL for 10+ years and hate the thought of going back to having to daily re-enter the stuff at the top of each log page. I have the program on the old computer, but have a new I need to transfer it to. Has anyone cracked the #### thing? I'm an O/O and drive the same tractor & trailer all the time.

 

The only halfway decent paper logbook software i found was in the apple store. I just went back to doing paper logs. Sucks, but there's so few of us left that it's not worth it to keep any good software maintained and servers running unfortunately.

 

Used drivers daily log for years. They decided not to go into ELD. Shame really. Was a very good program. Could link it to GPS, made it even easier.

 

My antenna screwed up last week, said switch to paper logs.

Big fat nope, cancelled my loads and staraight to the shop.
