    :biggrin_2556: I kindof new to this computer stuff . I used to drive a 99 pete with a 475 cat turned to a 550 it was a real screamer. it had a 13 speed trans behind it. I pulled flatbeds and frameless dump trailers . talk to you later .

    I also ran a MANUAL gauge and it was off by 10 degrees, I had it checked with a laptop. I replaced it back with the new electronic gauge and solve the problem. By the way, I run a 3406e also.

    Have run into this before!!!!!!! One of the wonderfull "mechanics" at the local dealership had a red shop rag over the rad whild he was working on the truck. Wonder how it would up in the rad. setteled in the lower hose connection, engine got hot as Hell!!!!!!!

    My 379 has been running hot too. Not fun on those looooong climbs!!! I hate that #### buzzer!!!

    We had a fleet of KW they had the toothed bug screen on them and the overheating problem was that the plastic bug screens did not have, very many holes in it and was restricting the air flow. A good test of air flow is to put on the fan and using a preasue washer spray into the rad and watch for the spray comming out.
    Just a thought!
