Haven't been to Fair Oaks in a while.

Hello Indian River Drivers.
I wanted to ask: Are the negative reviews on indeed.com about the office staff and owners true?
Do you face incompetence from their planning department and a lack of excellence from their office staff employees?
What can you expect to gross per week there if they give you the longer runs consistently? -
I've never experienced incompetence from people in the office. They are generally very nice and understanding. Sometimes you get loads with impossible appointments but when you ask them about it they will either correct it or tell you they were aware of it and ask you to simply get there as soon as you can.
As far as how much you'll gross if you consistently get the long runs, you'd probably be making $1800+ but always getting the long runs back to back is something that isn't guaranteed. Realistically you'll end up getting around $1500 some weeks, $1800 other weeks, and rarely with a bad week you'll only see $1000-$1200. But that's from my limited experience with this company and some other drivers may tell you otherwise. I know I'm the new guy so I might not get all the good loads, but I do still get them a lot. I've had Cali to Florida runs a couple times already and I just got done with a Washington to Florida run. And I wouldn't call myself their most preferred driver because I like to run on recaps which technically gets you less miles per week. I'm not trying to burn myself out.surf_avenue, Loudstacks, TruckDriver87 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Some of the other runs I've had since I started in October:
Headland, AL to Houston, TX
NJ to Davenport, IA
Cedar Rapids, IA to Commerce, CA
Alexandria, MN to Modesto, CA
Tipton, CA to Spokane, WA
Wilmington, DE to Houston, TX
Headland, AL to Sarasota, FL
Headland, AL to Birmingham, AL
Cedar Rapids, IA to Oklahoma City, OK
Lindsay, CA (I think) to Tempe, AZ
Prosser, WA to somewhere near Milwaukee, WI
Somewhere north of Denver, CO to somewhere in Wisconsin
That's all I can remember at the moment. I can't complain about the short runs because they're usually not back to back and sometimes there's a lot of deadhead to get to the pickup location. I've deadheaded anywhere from 10 miles to 1100 miles to pick up loads. Actually, now that I think about it, I did deadhead from Houston, TX to Tulsa, OK to go home and then I was told to deadhead to Clovis, NM from there. When I got to Clovis, they had me deadhead from there to Tulare, CA. I think that was about 2000 miles deadhead total, but I had just started so I think they didn't want me sitting around.surf_avenue, Speed_Drums, Loudstacks and 3 others Thank this. -
I don't have any first hand experience with IR but from a TTR Staff point of view we hear very very few complaints about them. I'd say we probably hear less bad stuff about IR than 95% of the other companies.
I'm sure they have their bad days and screw ups and everything else that happens in this business but the drivers seem to just recognize them for what they are and go on with their day.
Good attitudes are what you see a lot of.Knucklehead, Tanker_82, Cobrawastaken and 5 others Thank this. -
This is exactly why this is one of my favorite threads to follow. It’s not a depressing constant ***** fest. Guys updating where they are, and what they’re hauling. For a nosey person like me, that’s all I can ask for!Tanker_82, Speedy356, JohnBoy and 1 other person Thank this.

If my short term memory doesn’t allude me, this is not like the one I shall keep nameless. That one started out good but went down the tubes the last 5 years. This one is, a ray of sunshine with the most pertinent information available. And the people involved with it are pretty cool.
Speed_Drums, Tanker_82 and motocross25 Thank this. -
I run recaps also and have fights with vet drivers about running that way you can't change your 70 and of you run 430 daily which is doable of the appointment times accommodate you can clear over 3k weekly steadily without burning yourself or doing a 34 taking in that great urine concrete trucking deluxe Plaza smell... thanks for insight reefer otr here looking into tank yankin'Speed_Drums, Cobrawastaken and JForce28 Thank this.

Their trucks do look nice. No idea on the inside though. No APUs is a downside. I honestly don't get why any company nowadays doesn't get APUs. Because if a mega like Prime can deal with them for years and years. Then any company can deal with them.
Speed_Drums Thanks this.
