It's always so simple and straightforward for the office tards.

But when it comes times to operate in the real world please, let the professionals handle the driving and operations

Think one of my trainers at SPT said what they normally do. Is play a game on their phone. Every now and then take a peek at gauges and adjust if needed

One thing that really makes a tanker driver look bad, and their company for that matter, is for the customer to see a driver playing on his phone when he is unloading product. Haz or non haz either one.

There are alot of refineries along the gulf coast. From New Orleans down to Corpus across Texas up to Ok, KS, and Arkansas. Alot of these refineries need LIN, C02, LOX, and etc. So we deliver to alot of places that are crazy about safety. Especially if they had an explosion there before. IF A DRIVER IS CAUGHT RED HANDED WITH THE PHONE. THEN YOU WILL GET A LIFETIME BAN FROM THAT REFINERY. AND ALL OTHERS THE COMPANY HAS IN THE U.S.

And if it were up to safety at Airgas, Air Products, Matheson, Messer or Linde. They would fire the driver on the spot and have someone else come pick up the truck. This isn't all customers. But some refineries and nuclear facilities don't play around about cell phones.

But 3rd party carriers aren't raising hell about safety like private carriers do. So LGT, U.S. Cryo, KAG, Southern Pines, Fitch, and etc drivers might not even get suspended. They would just move the driver to another area to run for a different customer.

Side note, I remember the operator locked 2 drivers out of the Linde ASU plant. Because they kept using hammers instead of the spanner wrench to tighten the fitting. So Genox just sent them to another area.

I wish every plant and every carrier would do this. I'm sick and tired of my spanner wrench slipping off of fittings that have been rounded off by lazy-### drivers who hit them with a hammer or a cap instead of using a spanner wrench or a J wrench.

You got part of the reason down, AP invested heavily in controlling Hydrogen and then all of a sudden they discovered huge deposits of white or gold hydrogen. So now the value of being able to make hydrogen has gone down, specially considering that the government doesn’t want any hydrogen made with fossil fuels.

Exxon warns Baytown, other hydrogen projects unlikely under federal draft rules

Hard to say 1 reason, I had quite a few. What finally broke me was a combination of them trying to force me to move to CA and having to deal with my coworkers.

Our training lasts 5 to 10 weeks depending.
At some point the light bulb comes on and you start to grasp the operations.

I got a question about team drivers on Cryo. Would that be better to learn or to get in a cryo job? One drives at night and the other during day, most likely seniority card on day driving. Anyone have some idea how they work.
