Never rely identified it. I just zeroed in on 2 bogies on the left shoulder and cattle truck headed north. They made lift off just in time to clear him (northbound) and me (southbound) and I think he lost lift in the turbulence of the cattle truck… he almost made it clear… the dust outline he left on my windshield indicated he was a big ####### though…

Last Friday got rear ended, now today on the way home I started smelling that hot electrical smell. Instantly filled the cab and sleeper with smoke. Hit the shoulder with windows down and by the time I grabbed my flashlight and started looking for the source it was done. In, out, under the truck, and couldn't find anything. Everything still worked. Fridge, radio, heater, all blower motor speeds. Then smoke again. Still couldn't find it.

    Lesson learned, don't work Fridays.

Goof evening my fellow road warriors. I need some help tonight. Are there any Kenworth owners or drivers with a W900, T800 or T660 that have ever experienced this issue...

    2014 Kenworth T800
    Cummins ISX-15

    Loss of wipers
    Loss of HVAC Control Head
    No front/rear blower
    Loss of brake lamps

I have inspected every single fuse and circuit breaker and relay. Someone had tried to fix the wipers because I found a pair of Ford relays in the wiper slots in the power distribution center.

I flew in to Knoxville to pick this truck up and the owner told me the heat didn't work. He didn't say that the heater didn't work because the blower motor wouldn't power up because the HVAC control head was dead nor did he say a word about the wipers or brake lamps.

The wipers look like they've been parked in the same position for years because the rubber on the wiper blades has deteriorated to the point that the metal backing of the wiper blade is touching the glass.

I don't have my laptop with me to perform any diagnostics. Any ideas?
