Homeboy, sounds like you have been there about as long as me.I am dispatched out of Marshfield.I can remember one week getting about 2250 miles, and another one at about 2450.Other than those two weeks everyything has been 2800 plus.I think my high week was 3450.Have you talked to your DSR about getting more miles?

I will guarantee you being dispatched from Gary is the problem. I quit over a month ago, drove for Roehl 4 months, what a joke. The vice president even called me asking me not to quit that the problem would be taken care of. Now I drive for a company with a brand new condo freightliner, on a weekly salary , that my annual gross is $55,000.00, my cell phone is provided and I can call home and talk as long as I want to, they pay all of my benefits, I am guaranteed minimum 2 full days at home per week, they pay all tolls , scales, etc from an expense account they provide, they pay truck washes, and Idle air. And who says you have to have a years experience. -
Also, I believe I read that you are on the 7/7 fleet. Your miles will be better than a national driver such as myself. Although you only work half as much, your miles are better than mine. I understand that they will dispatch more miles to your fleet so to make it worthwhile.
Anyway, thanks for your interest. Good luck to you, and be safe. -

hello all first time here,i have been for with roehl for 4yrs.i have seen that there are slow times, somtimes it pays to talk to your dsr.let him or her know what you need to make it.

bbqribs, like javajunkie says, talk with your DSR about the situation.Any problems I have with dispatch,I am on the phone having a discussion with my DSR.So far that has been enough to clear things up.I have always received honest to the point answers, and everyone at Roehl has been very friendly and helpful. This includes weekend and night dispatch.

Fender, Who, may I ask are you driving for now? -
I notice nearly all the people discussing Roehl at this site have either only been with Roehl a few months or are people considering driving for Roehl.

I have been driving for about 15 yrs.on and off.I realize that the perfect trucking co.is not out there. However Roehl has proved to be a darn good place to work.Yes I have had complaints with them, but their people in management will listen to your gripes and try their best to correct them. Most problems are taken care of with your dispatcher(DSR).Even night and weekend dispatchers, seem to be very qualified people, who are more than willing to help you out.I have only been with them for about 6 months,,but I have a lot of cos.to compare them with. Before I signed on with them back in Aug.I did a lot of research on them,a lot of it was right thru this sight.I can honestly reccomend them to anyone.
