Sysco Driver Narrowly Averts Tragic Ending

The Sysco Kid was a friend of mine!!! Every time I see these pictures that’s all I can think of.

 

I do. I know the owner of the towing company that did the recovery personally and he is a stand up guy. That could have gone very wrong in a hurry.

I am sure we (I say we because I'm a writer for the magazine) will be recognizing the recovery team this November at the American Towman Expo in Baltimore.

 

I can only imagine what sitting in that truck for 40 minutes felt like.

 

I was just at Cottrell Friday night and again Saturday morning. Moved one up to North Carolina and then dropped one this afternoon in Pennsylvania. I can't post pics yet, but one was a W990. I liked the extra room in the cab but it sure did look funny.

 

I'm sure that recovery didn't come cheap..

 

I like that color.

 

I mean.....man.....plus what it costs to repair the bridge. Financially, that was a super d duper bad day for Sysco
