He started all his press conferences with some kinda dad joke too. He sure was one of a kind…

 

I finally made it home Saturday night about 930pm. Had a great weekend with my family and having my son's birthday party. This kid has so many friends it ain't even funny. We sent out invitations for about 25 people and we had 62 kids and their families show up so we just had a huge birthday bash and it was great seeing my son and all of his friends having a great time together at the arcade.

I finally got the truck parked and I'm still trying to get the stench off of my skin. It freaking reeks something awful dirty cigarette. I have a "hazmat-style" cleaning scheduled for the truck this week. On the mechanical side of things it appears that the right front kingpin is bent and causing the steering to bind when attempting to make a sharp turn to the right. I disconnected the right outer tie rod end and turned the wheel assembly side to side and I can feel it binding.

Headed to Livingston tonight to unload a CAT 415 backhoe and then back on the grindstone. Thankfully I am back in my 9900i with cold air blowing in my face and operational windshield wipers. Haha.

All fixed up.. we installed them ourselves for the first time. Now we got all the tools to do it in the future.
