He probably couldn’t find anywhere to live because of the sex offender rap(he was homeless). Can’t live within certain distances of schools, hospitals, libraries, shopping malls etc.-anywhere where kids would hang out.
Basically the City of Eugene was off limits to him.

This dude was thinking bad thoughts.

From where he was, all he had to do was head south on Greenhill road, turn left on Royal ave, drive less than a mile, and he would arrive at a sizable city park where kids are always playing.

This is the Bethel-Danebo neighborhood. Clear Lake (where I went), Danebo, Malabon, and Fairfield elementary are close together. There's even a church near Royal and Bertelsen with a playground directly out front.

No burial restrictions for chomos that I know of.

Well he didn’t head that way obviously. His vehicle was parked along Green Hill Road at the north end of Eugene Airport. Naturally the police thought that they were dealing with a possibly disabled vehicle, since parking near airport grounds was prohibited. So when they found out that he was on the list naturally he must’ve gotten spooked and took off and then went east on Meadowview Road and practically kept on trucking until he collided with the Amtrak train
