I hear ya. At both XPO (LH) and Walmart, there were about 1,000 different pay components on your check. Just make it straight forward and pay me hourly, daily, by the load, etc.

 

Anyone care to chime in on Airgas pay in the southeast? Or Airgas in general?

Looking at the Jefferson, GA location.

 

Don’t think anyone here is in the southeast.

 

A little over a year ago when I was looking for a job this thread had me looking for openings at Air Products and the others mentioned. But I'm unwilling to relocate and never could find anything convenient to me in middle TN. Nearest opening I saw was one of them had a class B opening in Decatur, AL but I didn't want a class B job.

 

Messer has a plant near Nashville. I think we're on a hiring freeze right now though.

You still pulling for Chris? Going from running your own truck to cryo is a bit of a culture shock I'll tell you that. LoL

 

Driving for Walmart now. Culture shock from #### near independent o/o to Walmart company driver - check! Not a bad company or work tho, I'm not complaining or looking anymore.

 

Nashville is too far. Same with Decatur, AL. I'm won't ever be commuting an hour or more for any job That was always a deal breaker. I feel lucky that I got what I got.
