Your situation is really quite common in the industry, and it’s not criminal unless they are broadcasting your feed publicly (and perhaps not even then).
All I can say is find a job without a driver facing camera, but that is getting harder these days.

OK, why not publicly?
As mentioned they are not event-driven, they record the event when it is triggered, but they run 24/7.
So here is the deal, there are no expectations of privacy in the workplace. The only exceptions with this is bathrooms/changing rooms, and passwords. Everything else is open to monitoring, including truck cabs.
If you don't like it, change companies, but they can monitor you. -
So, just put something over the lens when you park; a towel, a ball cap, a piece of electrical tape, whatever. Smear some Vaseline over the lens and all they'll see is an indistinct blur....

I had the freakin camera always recording, the Blue dot started flashing, The hell with it i just kept doing the doing. They never bothered me.
