I looked for his email but didn't have it anymore. However Maurice does ring a bell. So that guy can suck eggs.

According to those images it's the same guy. One of the email addresses was stored in my history. All Freight Transport is currently advertising on ziprecruiter.com in the Vegas area for box truck drivers. I reported them to admin. Hopefully they get taken down. -
You wouldn't believe what they're actually doing.

So when someone's dot number is active but not authorized are they allowed to advertise they're hiring 1099 contractors but really have them sign on as employees, hire people in states they don't have a formed LLCs in, hire a person with no experience at all in doing this stuff, no DOT medical card, no drug tests, no verification that their license is real, no proof the person is really who they say they are, no actual verification their residency in the USA is real and that they arent stealing someone's identity for a job, no interview, no onboarding at all, no face to face contact, and after a brief non specific phone call ...and rent a truck from a place out of state you aren't in, and have that new employee go pick it up, slap a magnetic logo on the side, and hop in and go OTR for 3 full weeks.
Is that....is that at all in general a good idea for anybody. I ask because I searched their dot number and the safer.FMCSA page shows it's not authorized Idk I'm a newb I could be holy incompetent and on meth and handed a box truck and told to go haul whatever not understanding weights, laws, regulations, or anything and will probably do anything anyone said to do. Also learned a little about intrastate commerce and requirements to be registered in a foreign state if you do business there. For tax reasons and whateverLast edited: Mar 17, 2024

Lonesome Thanks this.

Thanks I mean I got to the point where I felt like driving as a Doordash "dasher" was more legit than this situation. It looks pretty convincing and all. It appeared to be a setup just like what I seen people driving non CDL trucks for Amazon. The DSPs have rentals too. So nothing struck me as being too weird initially. Then Google lead me to this thread and I read dude owning this was some con man.
I just think how bad business has to be for them if they approach hiring like this.business can't be booming at all for them hiring like this. Again Doordash felt more of a safe "job". That ain't right.
The fmcsa site has a report line for crime and safety issues and concerns and says to post about it on social media and warm people which is something already being done here. Convenient.
