We deliver at two places in Murfreesboro, but I doubt either one will let you drop a tank. We go to a few places in Memphis, too. If you live in that area, you could probably drop at the tank wash and bobtail home. Those are about the only ones I can think of in Tennessee.

General question for tankers (reefer driver here looking to make the switch), tank washout facilities allow you to do 10s&some have showers available?, do tankers sometimes go to washout facilities to strictly do a 10 and shower or those places are strict and only allow this when you're a customer can you get away with that?

Do showers work like truckstops+fuel, for every tanker wo you get a shower credit?

You can do your breaks and hang out at most of the commercial wash out facilities I’ve been to. With that said, the showers I’ve seen aren’t much to write home about. Most of them do have decent laundry machines, though. If you drive for a company that uses their service, they don’t care if you shower there, do laundry, etc. regardless of whether you’re getting washed out or not. Danny’s in Avondale, AZ is the only one I know of that charges for a shower. Their rooms are nice and comparable to a TA or Petro.

I think something is wrong about this map. Because it shows not hiring out of Florida. I probably will contact them at some point to see if hiring out of Maine yet. Unless got no New England customers? Screenshot_20240318-125917.png

I’ve delivered at a few places in Massachusetts and Connecticut. I’ve also picked up in St Albans, Vermont once.

No hiring out of California either? That surprises me.

Regarding the beds, @Tanker_82 is this your observation as well? The truck only has one bed? It's not your typical top and bottom bunk setup. There's only the bottom bed?

The truck I currently have is a standard mid roof, but I do have a top bunk that folds down. I use it for a big shelf, and the mattress up there is still in the plastic wrapper. I also had a tall “condo truck” for a while that had a top bunk, but the other mid roofs I had were single bunk trucks. I don’t know if they still order them like this one for teams or not. I hope so. I’ve intentionally held on to this truck as long as I could because that bunk gives me a lot of storage area for my laundry bag, case of water, shower bag, etc.

My truck is a 23 and it has a single bed but there is extra storage shelves instead of a top bunk which I think kinda makes up for not having a top bunk. While we're on the subject of trucks, I've heard a rumor that Indian River has ordered some Freightliner and Kenworth trucks. So we may have some diversity in the fleet soon. But it's a rumor. Who knows if it's true.
