Granddaughter did 2 years of college at Morehead. Very nice area that we saw when down there from Lexington. She was doing Animal Science, Vet Tech courses...

A little warm out here and got a few hills to pull this week yet.
Got one on order. The wife will pick it up when she goes to town sometime this week…
I can’t believe how lucky I am it didn’t tear up everything on the front of the truck when it happened. I’m counting it as found money so far.
Thank for all the reassurances fellas. I really do appreciate the come back…Big Road Skateboard, jamespmack, dwells40 and 9 others Thank this. -
My wife went to college there as well in the 70’s. Her moms brother was a football coach there during those times…Big Road Skateboard, jamespmack, dwells40 and 8 others Thank this. -
I'd worry more about what looks like damage to the fins and tubes of the radiator that looked like they got a couple of whacks. Fan can wait unless it continues to break apart, but if those fins and tubes took a whack, continued vibration could make it a nightmare.

So…. About 3 years ago I picked up a customer on the dead side of a lane I ran pretty regular with load board freight. Filled it in with another round trip customer while I was out. Finally found an outbound load regular starting back about November..turned into a solid 2700 mile week. Leave on Monday home on Saturday.
Well the main load I’ve been doing for 3 years found a supply closer to destination… so that looks like it’s gone? So now I’m trying to take care of the 2 remaining customers without a way to get home (the dead leg)
Today I show up at my round trip customer to hear they’ve been sold and they only have 2 weeks worth of work left and will be shut down.
Now im not complaining by any stretch. I’ve made more money in the last few years than I could even dream about. I can’t remember ever feeling comfortable knowing any of the work would be there next month. I’m well prepared for what’s to come and maybe even felling a bit thankful for the slower times. But #### if I wasn’t heartbroken when I heard the news today about the round trip…but apparently my truck has had enough of this 135,000 miles a year. I’ve had more repairs in the last 2 months than the last 3 years combined… i guess the tide has turned? Time to regroup, relax and re plan..

I think that’s old marks from when I replaced the fan clutch a few years ago. I didn’t see anything that worried me to much as far as the radiator goes. I have a new brass / copper one at home in a box. The tank on this one has been leaking for years. Never seems to get worse.
So far so good today… big pull fully loaded in the morning at 33 deg f. Easy run after that I think? Maybe some air conditioning on Friday for a while?exhausted379, CAXPT, Feedman and 6 others Thank this. -
Gears are heavy and fingers are soft.

Found this in the bottom of a feeder wagon. Came out of a round bale. Could’ve made for a real belly ache for one of the cows.
IH Truck Guy, exhausted379, CAXPT and 11 others Thank this.
