Convoy Shutting Down?

Yeah, I used Uber once to get out of a jam. Their loads are 45k lbs. and they want to pay $1.90. GTFOH.

 

I see there are a couple Convoy trailers sitting at IKEA in STL if someone wants to go grab one.

 

The trailers are not Convoy’s, they are owned by Premier. The lease is with Premier and I’m quite sure that they know how to get them back if they need to.

The Convoy lettering was just an arrangement that they had with Premier.

I wonder if people are confusing the closure with a bankruptcy situation. I have yet to see a filing of bankruptcy or any stories of contractors not getting their settlements.

Considering the caliber of investors in convoy I’m sure closing it down was just a sensible solution…for now.

 

Well, here it is if you haven’t seen it already.
As suspected they want to motivate people to get their fuel card. I’m going to look closely at the fuel card details and compare it to my NASTC card. After ignoring them for a long time they finally offered me a generous credit line instead of their original offer with pre-paid BS. I’m not sharing my bank statements with them either, they can go pound sand.
Been down on NASTC lately since wasting my time with them on an insurance quote (spent a day getting them all the required documents only to be put on ignore).

 

It’s official, they’re up and running now.
Not much for loads yet, but for me it’s good news.
Didn’t have to do much to activate my account again, no carrier packet etc.

 

Guess I got a late invitation to the party..as usual.
I took a look and you’re right, nothing worth doing at the moment. I may consider doing a small easy load just to see how everything goes.

I’m hoping they get Kimberly Clark account back.. I did very well with those loads.
