That’s a good looking truck. Whats the interior like in your guys’ Volvos? Is it designed with some common sense? A decent sleeper berth?bryan21384 Thanks this.

They're pretty barebones, but barebones Volvo is still pretty driver friendly. I wish there were more proper cabinets, but the open shelf type ones get the job done. I like that the built in fridge has a nice cupholder and open space area on top for eating dinner. And double bunks are nice for those with a lot of stuff. I always leave mine flipped up to make it feel a little less confined. And having the bottom and top windows is nice in the sleeper.
These couple of pictures are the closest I found online. Sadly we don't have the whole folding/reclining bed setup like Volvos are known for. And we don't have that bunk light bar type thing in the picture.Blagoje, motocross25, bryan21384 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Man I'm glad I did....the directions they gave me to the customer didn't make sense at all....again. If I had followed the directions the company gave me, it would have had me on some restricted roads. I lucked up because they put some very detailed directions on the bills. All truck route directions. It's dark as hell out here though, so it was tough to see those street signs.
Jesus man, they made you earn your money with that run for real. The last time I went through Baltimore, it was late. I had got a load out of Jersey to take to Sauer, and I went to the truck stop and parked til that night. Then it was a breeze. I swear, the major cities on 95, it's too many of them.....patience gets tested every time lolmotocross25 Thanks this. -
That truck looks amazing!!! I like that it has no viser on top of it. I notice that they went back to the actual gear shift on the side of the seat. The last one I saw like that, it was a 2011 modelThrasher28 and motocross25 Thank this.

Looks butt ugly without the visorProfessor No-Name and Thrasher28 Thank this.

Good god dude you could have Eyes Wide Shut style orgies in that sucker. I’m so envious of your cab space and your bunk. My 389 is a flat top with a 48” sleeper. What you see is what you get man. It’s got a bed in it. That’s about it. And even that is a loose term. I’m 6’3” and trying to get around the shifter without corn-dogging myself wedging into the back is a sight to behold I’m sure.
Lumper Humper, Thrasher28 and dwells40 Thank this. -
Yeah, ive noticed the directions they provide leave a little to be desired sometimes lol. Not sure if they get those directions from drivers, customers, or just eye balling Google maps, but I've noticed it too.
Gets sketchy out in rural NC. A wrong turn and you'll end up on a 40 mile loop through the boonies. You should have a solid weekend run coming your way all the way in coastal Carolina.
I ended up getting a 3 hour split in at the second stop and now squeaking in a 7 at this casino in the middle of nowhere Delaware. Had to audible their fuel stop in Elkton, MD to make it work with the time, but I'll sneak over and fill up tomorrow on the way back. Only 5 or so miles out of the way. Hoping I might get lucky and they'll just send me on a deadhead to PalmyraLast edited: Mar 22, 2024

The bunk space on these OTR aero trucks is nice, but that looks like a whole lot more fun to run 11 hours in. I wish newer trucks didn't have the bright screen blaring in your face the whole time you're driving, and I love footwell windows.
That's one thing I don't miss about a manual though -- all the open floor space in an auto is nice. Makes perfect room for a cooler or a box of Kwik Trip tendersdwells40, bryan21384 and motocross25 Thank this. -
Picking up in Palmyra for Edwardsville. 272 from northern MD to Lancaster was a nice little scenic, toll free ride.
dwells40 and bryan21384 Thank this.
