Confusion about rumble strips

I remember 25 years ago when Txdot scale houses finally got Mobile Mini conex boxes to work out of. Before that the bears just sat in and did business out of their cruisers.

I member driving in to get fuel, and seeing a SWIFT truck sitting on it's side when I asked everybody said the dude just tried to make a sharp left right there, and it didn't work out. Most 2 lanes don’t have shoulders. Alabama has divided 4 lane us highways that past the fog isn’t even gravel, straight into the grass.

 

It varies per project. Just drive according to what exists now.
