They'll be turning down 16 loads next week because they just rolled one a couple miles down the road from Karns terminal. They had Route 268 shut down the whole day. All the trucks trying to get into or out of them refineries had to head south to get to I80!

 

will they consider 6 months OTR experience yet?

Yep it was a Superior.

Nothing is really easy to get to around there. When you lose the "main" road around noon, it becomes a bad day for everyone.

 

The Louisville "terminal" has been "downsized" to literally a closet in the Derby City Tankwash. You may want to give the Cincinnati terminal a call, they may let you park or run out of Louisville.

 

that was an enterprise truck that rolled north of karns city last week. i talked to an enterprise driver while waiting to load this morning who had been at the scene and assisted in the offload. said it turned into a 17 hour day for him. the driver who rolled it was from a terminal in illinois. he was joking that they were gonna start preloading all their trailers and dropping them at the truckstop in emlenton so that midwest drivers didnt have to risk the terrain in the karns city/ parker/ petrolia area. guess thats the second one of theirs in 2 years to roll around there. thats a nasty little spot if youre not familiar with whats around that bend.
