    Yup

No reason to give the irs any more info than they need.

I lived out of my truck for about a year last year. I used my aunts address for my physical address, just find a family member for your physical address(its a lot easier than trying to have a p.o. box) then just have your few bills you have set up online paperless and easy as pie I tell ya.

    American-Trucker Thanks this.

IRS won't let you deduct for your days on the road if you say you live on the road.Personally I have no family and my address is the UPS store and I use their address as my own.DMV offices will not allow this so I keep quite when getting drivers liscences or plates.

So does your mail keep getting sent to the Postal Store or do you have a P.O. Box as well?

I've not personally used the service I am about to mention but I've read about the experiences of someone who has. A service called "Earth Class Mail" may be a solution. Try googling that term..

Basically, for a fee they will receive your mail at their address, sort and scan images of the envelopes, which you can access online. From your online account you select to discard junkmail or have them do other things such as save it, mail it to another address, etc.

I think it's worth looking into further.

The guy I read about who used this service wasn't a driver, but instead a guy who lived in his RV and drove around the country. It seems it would applicable to truck drivers as well.
