Never went to Hoovers. Can tell you Catfish Parlor went to hell. I used to stop by there and get FRESH COOKED fish for lunch. Most excellent. Well at some point they decided to put the fish under a F heat lamp ala truck stop for lunch. I walked in one day and saw that and could not believe it. That was my last visit.
Threadgills bit the dust thanks to the virus. Ate there one time. It was ok. Highland lanes bowling alley is closed now. They had a great grill. Dart bowl closeD a few years ago. Food there was excellent. Nighthawk threw in the towel quite awhile back. There’s more.
