    I'm another newbie here.

    I've been driving my whole dern life. Started out on the family farm when I was 15. Drove all over out in the country until I turned 18 and got my CDL at 18 (you can do that where I live, you just can't leave the state) and bought a tractor and leased to FedEx after driving other folks' trucks a while. Now, I'm 35 and thinking about leaving FedEx in the mirrors and putting my own numbers on the door. I had no clue there were so many on-line trucking communities, but began to find them while doing some research on DOT authority.

    Thought I'd join some and this is one of them.

    Looking forward to the discussion.
