Wanting and needing to replace the oil sump tube clamps, in an N14 oil pan. They’re on back order at Cummins. Any suggestions? IMG_5279.jpeg

I got three depending on how bad you need it up. #1 talk to vanderhaggs, decent chance they have them or have used ones in good condition/can pull them. #2 take one to a machine shop and have them make them, ive done that for parts in my own engine before. Quality is usually WAY higher too.....but so is the price. #3 local junkyard and pull them off a scrapped rig.

Find a piece of hose that fits between the clamp and the tube?

I don’t want something that could deteriorate in the hot and cold oil, come loose and block part of the oil sump screen. That’s exactly what the OE ones will do after they get brittle.

Scott that would scare the heck out of me. If I had to put a machine together in order to finish job ( drilling a well or something OK )
For a life time repair I would prefer used OEM parts.

The front sump pans don’t have the rubber isolators (I think)
    Measure that tube
I have a couple front sump pans here I guess I could take the clamps out of if they are the same size

Tube is around 1 3/8” O.D.. I removed the clamp at the bottom of the pan, by the suction screen and it shattered to bits, before I got it off. I bet the plastic is not that hard, when new.

Can't be much worse than OEM if they fall apart like that. Buna and viton are good enough for the o-rings throughout the engine
