Thanks, I am interested but I've been hearing that it's "soft" pits and chips easier than normal?
-
Did you install the glass or have a shop do it?Oxbow Thanks this.
-
had a glass guy do it/ fast n easy.
Flat pieces of glass gotta be the easiest for an install, but when the glass guy is standing there might as well let a professional do it. -
I'd have to buy extra windshields in advance just to make sure I had enough by the time I broke a few! And to be fair, the glass guy doesn't do what I do, so I probably shouldn't try to do what he does.Vampire, dwells40, mile marker 27 and 4 others Thank this.

I did one once because I hit a bird and it pretty much came in the cab with me
I found a junkyard window close by and used liquid tire lube and a couple flat screwdrivers and a hose pick to get it in. That was in a flat glass w9 took me about an hour but I still got my load delivered.
I haven’t done any since, it seems like a lot of the glass guys do it cheap enough it’s not worth having to pay for the one I accidentally brokedwells40, mile marker 27, Ruthless and 1 other person Thank this. -
Brockton, MA @ kenworth northeast group
I don’t know all the specs, but it’s a 228 inch wheelbase with AG460 with a single leveling valve, split tank on the driver side/ single rail frame. I didn’t wanna climb all over it. -
Meh,……… I like the one you’re driving better.Bean Jr. Thanks this.
