A refresher

Don't rule out Prime just yet. Might be your best chance to hit the road. At least with Prime, the equipment is top notch and the pay is very good, in the reefer division.

 

Climate may be inclined to hire you since you want to live out of the truck. They have had Florida drivers in the past but they require them to stay out 4 to 6 Weems. The question would be how much tractor trailer experience do you have? You'll need 1 year OTR, or if not OTR, 2 years tractor trailer experience locally.

 

With things so quiet at the moment I'd put an add out I'm sure if your willing to make the right offer ($$$$) some O/O will be willing to take you out on the road with them providing your good to get along with, that'd always be an issue no matter who is in your cab, a bit like being a taxi driver I guess you can't pick and choose your customers very much. Although in this case I guess the operator of the truck can.
