Hello!

    Hi! Been trucking mostly for myself for the past 10 years. Fuel prices and other items had me sell my business - been trying to find something ever since that has decent pay. Went to local oil field business over a year ago, and that was good for about 6 months and then it slowed down. Can't make a living pushing a broom cause there isn't any driving to be done! Left there - went to a local OTR company 6 months ago, miles were great until they converted me from contractor to employee. Now only getting 1800 - 2000 miles per week. No benefits - low pay - not worth it.

    Looking at getting into oil field in North Dakota. Does anyone know anything about Wylie Bice Trucking? I hear they are good and pay is great.

    Welcome to the forum DNK! Sorry to hear about your losses. Know all to well where you are coming from there. Hubby just leased onto ATS, and so far loves his dispatcher lol. Told him he will be runnin his arse off lol

    I don't work for them currently, but I have a friend that does and I am probably going to them in the next coule weeks. They pay good, treat you like family and run good equipment is what I have heard. I hope you go to work for them if you are lookng to get in with a good company.
    I cut my teeth with a crappy company with crappy equipment and crappy pay but still made good money.
    Going over to Wylie Bice in the next couple weeks after my divorce is final, I keep having to leave for court and crap and when things settle down I will make the switch. I would say go for it if you have the chance!!
