Welp the pay isn’t good at all you make less than 1,000 a week given you work everyday. Don’t get good sleep and I’m in debt so this doesn’t help I’m so depressed on this truck and they dont give you enough miles for two people. You make half of .56 cents per mile it’s just depressing I don’t know what to do I’m trying to find a second job. I love driving but I can’t pay bills on this salary. I’m slick ready to give up on life. I’ve tried everything. I’m a failure. I feel like a. Slave on this truck.

My point is, chock it up to a learning experience and move on. You will probably be happier in the end. Trucking is no prison, opportunities await literally around every corner.Bud A., rollin coal, Rideandrepair and 4 others Thank this. -
Rideandrepair, Speedy356, TB John and 3 others Thank this.

Snowlauncher (above) is correct -- the major "starter" carriers like Werner have a lot of different runs/accounts....& thus a lot of different opportunities.
Play your cards right -- & you can change jobs, without having to change employers.
Been there, done that. It's a "win-win" for EVERYBODY (including you).

I don't know about your debt, but if you have a lot of credit card debt, you should consider filing bankruptcy. Before I started trucking was working a dead end warehouse job with a LOT of cc debt. When I filled, I told the lawyer I felt embarrassed and ashamed to do it (30k) and he surprised me by saying that I was on the low end, he had people that filled on over 100k and would come in his office wearing diamond rings and stuff like that. I still felt bad doing it, but it let me get a start into a different job without all that debt stressing me out. And yes, it took over 7yrs, but I started building up the credit pretty quickly. I finally realized that's it's silly to be living just for a good credit score. Just a thought.
Rideandrepair, Richierich76 and Chinatown Thank this. -
Bankruptcy is a last resort. I suggest checking out Dave Ramsey.
