I was just thinking about maybe getting another tat when I hit 65 — maybe just invest in a new compressor would be the answer

 

Unimog? I had the unfortunate experience of working on one years ago. Wasn't that great off road either. Thing kept sinking into the frozen muskeg even with big monster truck looking tires. Meanwhile the big tridrive water truck just floated along on top without leaving churned up muskeg everywhere.

 

My power disconnect is turned off every use/day. Last shop I worked at was on 24/7. But one older gentleman had a warning. Leave them on, or off. But always unplug the new oil storage tanks when not in use. Apparently at 5am when you open the garage door and step into 6" of fresh motor oil will teach you that lesson. I without the experience learned from his story.

 

Liquor distributor had a whole fleet of those bubble-nosed Mercedes from the late 80's - early 90's and nothing on them was easy. Looked similar to this.

 

Never seen one in person. But working on or getting parts for a Mack/Renault midliner or a 80-00's Iveco I imagine probably similar. I worked at a dealer that was the last Iveco service shop at the time. IH/Iveco/UD. What a pain.
