Sorry, I made a rookie mistake by posting the recruiters info. But I am a rookie so I guess it's to be expected. :biggrin_2552: How about this. If you call the California office for Squire and talk to the recruiter I bet he could answer your question. Hope that helps. Good luck!

I'll find out Wednesday whether I'm on at Squire. So far I have met a few of the recruiters at the Louisville truck show and I have to say that I got a good feeling about the company. I've been on the phone with them a few times when filling out the application and following it up, and was impressed with the fact that whenever I called I either reached them directly or was called back immediately. Hope to see you out there.

I had a great, hour-long conversation with someone at Squire and they invited me to orientation! What I heard on the phone was unlike anything else I've heard in talking to companies. I was really impressed. I can call back, I'm sure. I just don't know... :biggrin_25511: Because then I got to reading about Knight. Hmm. A lot of complaints. I dunno.

Do you do 5 months of training like you would at Prime, or do you do the normal 4-6 weeks then work for Squire? I am going to call back tomorrow, I think. Now that the illusion of "home every weekend" has left me, maybe they are good... ?

I have two friends from Class going to Squire.
One is there already, and the other is leaving for Indianapolis next weekend.

I've heard some good things about them. It's interesting having a "sub company" for driver training.

Here is the weird thing, Squire and Knight Refrigerated are good but Knight Trans is bad. Go figure. My problem with KR was they decided to start slip seating drivers who took more then 2 days off and I wasn't going to do that.
