Got an old Marvel-Schebler to work on this weekend. I'm sure there's a few here who know what that is. If any ya'll got some info on where to set the screws for a ballpark starting point it'd be much appreciated.

It doesn't matter what you play or how fast, its the emotion behind it. If this was filmed in '85 then he sat on that riff for almost a decade. One of my all time favourite riffs.

 

Kiddo wanted to go faster. Tough to explain to her that's it's slow because of me, not the engine.

Tonight Is in the books, but making another run at it tomorrow. They seem to think the area is gonna be packed for the weekend for eclipse. I don't see that much traffic. But had a run in with a Indiana car. Guess that individual didn't realize I'm local and driving a 2500 dollar pickup and great insurance. I was prepared to eat his Kia.

Pork butts, chicken breast tender, beans, Mac, burnt ends done. Ribs and 16 briskets going on about midnight for tomorrow.

 

Must be an updraft. What cubic inch engine is it on…..?
