Strong quake rocks SoCal, Mexico...

SoCal just experienced a 6.9 earthquake centered near Mexicali, Mexico, and felt as far away as Phoenix and Las Vegas.

 

What a ride it was in Riverside, (California).
It rocked and rolled for at least 15 seconds.
No reported damage here.
But I hear Mexicali didn't fare too well.

For the record, I, Shakey AfterShock, had nothing to do with it.

I felt it here in the Hi Desert as well. It was a strong rolling motion feeling. No damage here either. WHAT A RIDE............

 

Reports are that it was felt in Phoenix, Las Vegas and Santa Barbara, California.

I've viewed photos of the Mexicali, Mexico area.
Large cracks in roads and buildings damaged.
Pretty awesome, Momma Nature.

 

Not something I want to ever see up close.

 

My sister lives in San Diego,and is 6.9 there. She's ok and so are her 30 friends who were all outside having an Easter party. This was the strongest one she's experienced since living there for years now.

 

Just exactly what has changed from normal? These photos, were they before or after the quake?
