The Cryo Hauler Thread

At our AP terminal we load 79,200-79,300. To deliver close to 6900-7000 gallons. If you load heavier, you’ll find yourself calling dispatch to find you a customer to dump the rest in. I rather not do that.

 

Guess you haven't seen the AP hydrogen truck, it's a real winner of innovation. Its so heavy that you can only haul 4,000 gallons vs the 7,000 you can haul in a diesel.

Now they just need to buy twice the number of trucks and hire twice the drivers, maybe they can pay the drivers half the pay since they're doing half the work.

 

For all you Cyro drivers, what ELD system do you use at your company? I have experience with both PeopleNet and Samsara. I personally like Samsara better.

I guess they gave up on the Rockwell trip master...lol
They were a test fleet for them back in the '80's.

SPT used TransFlo. But I think they was going to convert to something else. Platform Science or something. Can't remember the name

 

Could be cell service it uses. Since awhile ago 3g band was shutdown. I still remember some drivers complaining about it. But that's what happens when you go cheap
